Who does not like pancakes? Here is a recipe that is not new at all. In fact, it is very well known in the fitness community. It is super easy and most of the ingredients can be found in every household. A great healthier alternative of a regular pancakes. It does not take longer that 15 minutes, which makes it great for everyone that is in a bit of rush but still values breakfast. So, without further ado let see check it out.
For 6 banana pancakes:
2 bananas
3 eggs
100 grams of regular rolled oats
Pinch of vanilla (optional)
Pinch of baking powder (optional)
Nutritional Value without the toppings and oil for the pan:
Calories: 799 / Protein: 32.5 g / Carbohydrates: 115 g / Fats: 22 g / Dietary fibers: 15 g
1. The easiest way would be of course to use a blender, as that will ensure the perfect mixture of the ingredients. However, if you do not have one, you can use the old traditional way of bowl and whisk, plus a fork for the bananas, but for this one you will have to change the rolled oats with any other flour. Once you have mixed the ingredients, you can proceed to the baking par.
2. Preheat the pan and use a bit of oil or butter to avoid sticking and burning (if you don’t have a non-sticking pan in your arsenal). Coconut oil is a great option especially in this case of dairy free recipe.
3. Serve with a desired topping. Be careful if you count calories though, however the pancakes are sweet enough due to the bananas so you might not need as much.
